Two weeks and counting down to a trip some would term "of a lifetime". It certainly is a dream come true, but I like to think I'll be back some day. In case you missed the popular 90's manga and anime reference in the title, the hubby and I will be heading to Japan. This blog is more or less our way of directing friends and family to all the noteworthy moments we may not be able to recount a hundred times. And, we'll be able to turn this record of thoughts into one of our "photo books" that will detail major events in each year of our married life. Cheesy, but I'd like our (future) kids to know just what we were up to...
As we'll be visiting several onsen ryokan (hot spring Japanese-style accommodations), we hope it will also be useful for people planning a trip in the future. The plan is to be there for ten days eleven nights with multiple hot spring stops scattered throughout so that we feel relaxed as vacations are supposed be.
